Durante i The Game Awards 2021 sono stati annunciati tutti i vincitori dei migliori titoli dell’anno che sta per giungere al termine.
Il grande vincitore della serata è stato It Takes Two, il quale ha vinto a sorpresa nella categoria Game of the Year. Ha anche portato a casa i premi per il miglior gioco per famiglie e il miglior gioco multiplayer.
Quest’anno, la famiglia Xbox con Xbox Game Studios e Bethesda Softworks ha guidato le nomination, portando a casa anche alcuni premi. Deathloop di Arkane Lyon e Bethesda ha vinto per la miglior regia e la miglior direzione artistica, mentre Forza Horizon 5, nonostante non abbia ricevuto nomination in grandi categorie, ha vinto a sua volta due premi.
