Durante la recente cerimonia dei The Game Awards 2021 sono stati annunciati svariati titoli tra teaser, brevi anticipazioni e trailer completi. Tra gli annunci più interessanti dell’evento troviamo senza ombra di dubbio Alan Wake 2, sequel del titolo uscito nel 2010 uscito in esclusiva su Xbox 360 e che ha recentemente ricevuto una remastered per PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X e Series S.
Un altro annuncio arrivato a sorpresa è relativo a Star Wars Eclipse, titolo sviluppato da Quantic Dream i quali sono celebri per aver prodotto opere come Heavy Rain, Beyond: Due Anime e Detroit: Become Human. Visti i precedenti, Star Wars Eclipse potrebbe essere basato più sulla narrativa rispetto al gameplay.
Inoltre è stato mostrato più nel dettaglio The Matrix Awakens, titolo che era già stato anticipato alcuni giorni fa con un teaser.
